\n\tMI-8 MTV CAPABILITIES<\/span><\/span>\n<\/div>[vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

The MI-8 MTV was specially developed for use in hot and high-altitude environments. The helicopter can be equipped with additional fuel tanks to enable longer ranges. This eliminates the need to carry fuel to remote locations. The engines are protected by dust filters and the rotor blades are made of a low-wear aluminum alloy.<\/p>\n

The helicopter is successfully used for abseiling and other search and rescue missions. The MI-8 MTV can be converted for use with night vision goggles so that it can also operate in the dark. The helicopters are equipped with modern avionics equipment, including satellite\/radio navigation systems, ATC transponder, weather radar, emergency beacon and VHF radio station.<\/p>\n

The cargo cabin is equipped with a heating and ventilation system and has folding seats for up to twenty-four (24) passengers. The helicopter can be converted for ambulance flights, with space for twelve (12) stretchers with appropriate medical equipment and a folding seat for a medical attendant.<\/p>\n

The machine can transport up to four tons of freight. Loading takes place via a large cargo hatch with a rear ramp. The cargo hold has appropriate on-board loading equipment as well as reinforced floors and attachment points to secure the load.<\/p>\n

The helicopter can be quickly equipped with additional equipment such as fuel\/water bladders, firefighting, search and rescue equipment, aerial cameras, etc. The floors can be fitted with ballistic protection plates to ensure optimum safety for passengers and crew in hazardous environments.
\nThe helicopter can be equipped with an external sling load system to transport Bambi firefighting containers of up to 4000 kg to the fire scene.<\/p>\n
