At an altitude of 50 m and a speed of 230 km\/h, the aircraft can dump 8 tons of water to cover an area 35 m wide and 160 m long with a concentration of more than 1 l per square meter. The aircraft can operate from unpaved runways as it is equipped with robust landing gear with low-pressure tires and has high-mounted engines. The aircraft has 2 autonomous external extinguishing units that can be filled in 10-15 minutes to drop up to 8 tons of fire retardant. The aircraft is perfectly suited for rapid deployment operations, including parachuting up to 27 firefighters and 10 x 100 kg units of firefighting equipment.<\/p>\n

Up to 6,700 kg of cargo can be loaded into the 66 m\u00b2 cargo hold via the aircraft’s rear ramp. The aircraft’s multi-purpose cargo hold can even accommodate bulky cargo such as boats and small commercial vehicles, while the overhead crane has a load capacity of up to 3,000 kg. Thanks to the airtight cargo cabin and an on-board air conditioning system, the aircraft can be converted into an ambulance aircraft with space for up to 24 stretchers.<\/p>\n
