\nAs a provider of multimodal logistics services, Ferox has a worldwide network to ensure the greatest possible and reliable logistical coverage. Ferox is a NATO registered company with project management experience in Europe, North America, Central Asia and various countries on the African continent.<\/p>\n

Ferox utilizes An-32P firefighting aircraft and MI-8 MTV helicopters. We have access to the equipment, personnel and expertise to perform firefighting operations worldwide at short notice and operate in accordance with FAA Category 1 and EASA procedures. Our company is certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 and ISO\/IEC 270001:2017.<\/p>\n

The intensity of fires is increasing. Every year, 30 million hectares of forest are lost to forest fires. On average, nature needs 10 to 20 years to recover. Every year there are around 300 deaths and 340,000 premature deaths worldwide due to smoke inhalation from forest fires and the earth is becoming warmer and more vulnerable. 9 out of 10 of the hottest years on record have occurred since 2005. Forest fire trends are developing in parallel.<\/p>\n

Ferox builds on over 15 years of experience of the Expedition Aviation Group. We draw on crews who have gained their experience in NGOs, military and government projects. The crews have many hours of experience flying firefighting missions in challenging environments and have developed standards for some of the most complex scenarios. All crew members are safety vetted before being deployed.<\/p>\n

Our team regularly operates MI-8 MTV and An-32P aircraft in support of firefighting operations in Greece and Turkey. Every summer day, An-32P and Mi-8 MTV helicopters carry out firefighting missions in these countries.
